Kerstin Götz: In today's business world, characterized by constant change and innovation, efficient project management and organizational development are crucial. As the CEO of a company passionate about project management excellence, I live these principles every day.

Structured work, for me, includes meeting deadlines and careful planning and prioritization of tasks and projects. This belief is reflected not only in my professional practice, but also on my home screen.

Kerstin Götz: Clean Desk und Clean Homescreen

The “clean desk” approach that I value so much in my work also extends to my home screen. The tidier it is, the better I can keep track of things, reduce stress and increase my efficiency. Therefore, there are only apps there that are essential for my professional and private communication as well as for my organization.

Good communication starts with yourself

First and foremost is my email app. Emails are my main means of communication, especially when contacting partners and customers. I use this to regularly monitor my business messages, edit them and forward them if necessary. Meeting the service level agreements (SLAs) that I expect from others starts with myself.

Internal and external exchange via chat

WhatsApp (for Android), iMessage and Mattermost (for Android): For me, these three chat apps are indispensable tools for quick and easy communication. I am in contact with colleagues and business partners via WhatsApp and iMessage, with iMessage being particularly ideal for communicating with other Apple users.

Mattermost, on the other hand, enables internal communication in our company and promotes informal exchange. The shortness of communication channels and quick accessibility are invaluable for the modern working world.

Plan and bill projects efficiently

Our Troi business app (for Android) is a valuable tool for having all your business contacts at your fingertips. I can upload receipts at any time when I'm traveling and assign them directly to the appropriate projects. Time recording is very important for project planning and billing. The app supports me in seamlessly integrating business processes and makes working on the go easier.

As an entrepreneur, it is important to switch off occasionally and concentrate. For me, music is an excellent way to achieve this. My music app is therefore always at hand so that I can quickly relax in the hustle and bustle of everyday work or focus on upcoming tasks.

Kerstin Götz: Good orientation on any terrain

Since I'm often on the go, Google Maps (for Android) is an indispensable companion. The rapid availability of navigation data helps me to find my way effortlessly in unknown regions and to attend my appointments on time.

That's why I think it's great that advancing technology now allows me to communicate my arrival time very precisely in the event of delays. For me, the appreciation of collaboration begins here.
