Whether climate change, the refugee crisis or cybercrime: these are just some of the threats that many people are currently dealing with. However, as the World Economic Forum recently noted, we will continue to have to deal with these and several other problems in the coming years.
The greatest threats and risks to humanity
For the annual Global Risks Report, the Swiss foundation surveyed 1,500 experts from science, business and politics. They should assess the global risks over the next two to ten years. In the following ranking we show you the ten biggest threats to humanity that the World Economic Forum expects in the next ten years.
10th place: environmental pollution
In the tenth place of the greatest threats to humanity is the environmental pollution. Human activities are responsible for releasing pollutants into the air, water and soil. This in turn has negative effects on our lives. Financial losses and damage to ecosystems can also result.
