This may include basic information such as logos or photo. But also references to special offers or for food orders and reservations.
Showcase feature for special offers
In the future, companies will also be able to use the new Showcase function for special offers. This should enable them to better draw customers’ attention to offers, seasonal products or discounts.
The feature is already available in the US. According to Apple, it will be rolled out worldwide “in the coming months”.
How can companies sign up for Apple Business Connect?
Entrepreneurs need an Apple ID to register. According to Apple, you can use an existing one or create a new one.
On the website for the iPhone group’s new service, users can then log in with exactly this Apple ID. In a next step, Apple verifies the company. It can then claim locations for itself and personalize them in the location map.
