According to some expert opinions, electric toothbrushes clean teeth more effectively than traditional manual toothbrushes. However, many people also choose the electric version because of its ease of use. However, the product selection is large.

The best electric toothbrushes

Stiftung Warentest therefore tested 63 different electric toothbrushes. In addition to branded products from Philips Sonicare and Oral-B, the database also includes models from drugstores and discounters.

In order to be able to compare the brushing results as objectively as possible, the consumer organization tested the individual devices using special tooth models and a brushing machine. In the following ranking we show you the ten best electric toothbrushes according to Stiftung Warentest.

Platz 10: Budni Diadent Total Clean Pro

The Budni Diadent Total Clean Pro lands in tenth place in the ranking. The model received this in the test Overall grade 2.1. For teeth cleaning it received a partial grade of 1.6. The round-head brush from the drugstore chain Budni has a pressure control that warns users when there is strong pressure.
