Many televisions now have excellent picture quality. However, the sound quality of many devices often leaves a lot to be desired. If you want to spice up the sound, you can get more out of your television with a soundbar.

The best soundbars in comparison

The current database of Stiftung Warentest currently includes 192 soundbars and soundplates with prices ranging from around 120 to 2,000 euros. The consumer organization did not compare the individual models in terms of music and voice playback. Film effects and compressed streams via Bluetooth were also examined.

The result: Expensive soundbars are not automatically better. Some high-priced models were not convincing with their sound or had weaknesses in handling. In the following ranking we show you the ten best soundbars – according to Stiftung Warentest.

Tenth place in the ranking of the best soundbars goes to the Overall rating 2.0 to the LG DS80QY + SPQ8-S. The three-part speaker system including wireless rear speakers primarily expands the surround sound. In terms of price, the model is in the middle class.
