The Berlin Proptech Buena has secured another millions in a Series A financing round. A total of 49 million euros ($ 58 million) has now flowed into the startup. The round was led by GV (formerly Google Ventures), accompanied by donors such as 20VC, Stride and Capnamic.

With fresh capital, Buena wants to further develop its AI-based software for real estate management and accelerate its expansion in Germany.

Buena has set itself the goal of making real estate possession easier and more efficient.

The centerpiece is a separate AI platform that automates recurring tasks such as accounting or the creation of the annual accounts-a process that has so far been handled manually or with outdated software.

Buena follows an “Ai Rollup” model. Since 2023, the startup has already taken over more than 20 property management companies to consolidate the highly fragmented industry.

According to its own information, Buena is currently managing over 60,000 residential units in Germany.

The Berlin Proptech was founded in 2016 by Moritz von Hase and Thilo Konzok, at that time still under the name Home. Konzok got out of the company in 2021, today works as an advisor near Sequoia and has re-founded: the design startup uncommon. Hase continues to work as a CTO at Buena.

In two financing rounds, the two founders were able to secure around 14 million euros from investors by 2020. Among others from Capnamic, EQT Ventures and Redalpine.

From YouTube star to CEO

Today DIN BISEVAC is at the head of Buena. The Bosnian -born started his career at the age of eight. He was one of the first German YouTube personalities, learned to program early and worked at a local IT company at the age of 13.

In 2019 he started at Buena as a product designer and rose to CEO after a good two years when he took over the management of Konzok.

Under his leadership, Buena took a comprehensive restructuring: Instead of renting its own real estate, the startup is now developing software that is intended to support landlords in finding tenants, organizing visits and contract processing.

Bisevac is also a co -founder of “Project Europe”, a pan -European initiative to promote company start -ups, which he created together with the investor Harry Stebbings. According to Stebbings, Bisevac is the “Hardest working Founder” in his portfolio, together with Slay-Co-Founder Fabian Kamberi.
