The limousine startup Blacklane has once again completed million-dollar financing: the company is raising 60 million euros, as Gründerszene learned exclusively in advance. This is the highest round to date in the company's 13-year history. Last year, CEO Jens Wohltorf completed a Series F, raising 34 million euros.

We are a profitable, fast-growing company. I'm never satisfied with it. I would still like to grow.

Founder and CEO of Blacklane

According to its own statements, the luxury chauffeur service from Berlin is profitable. In an interview with Gründerszene, Wohltorf explains why he still doesn't steer Blacklane into calmer waters – and doesn't rule out a Series H either. We talk about a possible IPO, Wohltorf's diversification strategy and how the CEO wants to lead Blacklane from the travel into the more crisis-proof mobility segment.
