Elon Musk recently presented the Tesla Robotaxi. It is intended to fundamentally change passenger transport. The electric car manufacturer wants to have autonomous vehicles on the road by 2027. We'll show you what the Cybercab looks like from the inside.

Elon Musk presented the Tesla Cybercab. Production of the fully autonomous robotaxis is scheduled to start before 2027. Investors, analysts and Tesla itself expect the market launch to bring about a radical change in the business model.

The long-awaited presentation apparently already had an effect: the share price rose by 30 percent in the past few months. However, after the revelation on October 11, 2024, it lost almost five percent. But about the Tesla Robotaxi itself: Like the Cybertruck, the Cybercab has a metallic design. It is reminiscent of a vehicle from a sci-fi film. The company's goal is to revolutionize passenger transport.

During his presentation, Musk compared autonomous driving to the development of elevators. While these used to be operated by real people, they now work at the push of a button. However, many people wouldn't even think about it.

Production of the robotaxis is scheduled to start in 2026. The price is said to be under $30,000. It remains to be seen whether Tesla can meet the deadline. However, it is already possible to take a look inside the robotaxis.
