From the smallest car to the luxury model: the quality of our cars is constantly changing and is constantly producing improved models. In our weekly ranking we show you the ten best cars in Germany – according to ADAC.
Are our cars getting better and better? The ADAC recently addressed this question again. To answer them, the car club tested a total of 94 cars in 2023 – from inexpensive small cars to expensive luxury models.
The test vehicles included 30 gasoline engines, eleven diesel engines, 15 hybrids and 38 electric cars. The ADAC examined the vehicles for, among other things, their suitability for everyday use, range, charging time and battery technology. Environmental friendliness and safety also played an important role in the 300-point test procedure.
The best cars in Germany
The clear test winners: electric vehicles. Five models were able to shine with the top grade of 1.7. They differ greatly in terms of vehicle class and body shape. It is also noticeable that different versions of the Hyundai brand are represented in the top places. In the following ranking we present you the ten best cars in Germany.
Platz 10: Hyundai IONIQ 5
Tenth place in the ranking of the best cars in Germany goes to the Hyundai IONIQ 5 with a 77.4 kilowatt-hour battery in the UNIQ package with all-wheel drive. In the Overall grade 1.8 Above all, top ratings in the areas of engine and drive as well as in terms of environment and safety were included.
