Now the magazine Sifted reports that the evaluation could be even higher. Accordingly, well -known investors such as Accel and Insight Partners have already submitted offers. According to insiders, Insight Partners offers an evaluation of almost three billion dollars (2.6 billion euros). In total, the team of N8N currently has ten offers, according to Sifted.

The planned financing round would come just four months after the Series B round of 55 million euros. At that time, the assessment was still around 300 million euros. In total, N8N has already collected $ 73 million (63 million euros). The renowned Silicon Valley investor Sequoia Capital has been one of the supporters since the Seed round in March 2020.

AI, the everyday processes automated

N8N develops a AI-based platform with which companies can easily automate everyday work processes. This should relieve employees and focus on more important tasks. Users can link programs such as Slack, Google Sheets or Telegram and thus hand in annoying routine jobs.

In the meantime, more than 230,000 users are already using the software – including well -known companies such as Delivery Hero or Stepstone. Sales are also growing rapidly: N8N states that it has now increased its recurring annual turnover (ARR) to around $ 40 million (34 million euros).

The fact that N8N has great potential also shows a look at the prominent donors who invested early in the startup. In addition to the Silicon Valley-VC Sequoia Capital, HV Capital, Felicis Ventures, First Minute Capital from London and Harpoon Ventures from California were already on Berlin.

Founder from the Allgäu

The founder of N8N is Jan Oberhauser. The native of Allgäu describes himself as “nerd” and brought up programming at the age of 14. Before his time as a founder, he worked on special effects for films for years – initially completely handmade. But Oberhauser quickly realized that many of the processes were always the same and began to automate the processes with their own solutions.

This is exactly what the idea of n8n came up in 2019. “And I noticed that I have always programmed and simplified the same things,” says Oberhauser. There were already other software at the time, but none was really convincing. So he founded his own startup without further ado.
