All innovations this year are about AI, the competition there with Openai, Perplexity and Meta is so hard that Google could not wait for its own developer conference. “We want to get the best models into your hands as soon as possible,” commented Google boss Sundar Pichai.
Google's future vision is called “Ai Mode”
The I/O conference is aimed at professional developers, the new Android had already presented Google a few weeks ago. Nevertheless, Pichai showed a novelty that Google's core product that will change internet search: “Ai Mode” is called Google's future vision of a new search with which the company wants to make up for the success of perplexity and chatt in the field of AI-based network research.
