Artificial intelligence not only changes business models, but also the way we think of work. Many startups call themselves “Ai-First” without really understanding what that means. For AI consultant Johannes Stock it is clear: If you want to be AI-First, you must not only use AI to work more efficiently, but also have to think again radically.
“Ai-First is clearly an attitude,” says Stock. It is not just about automating processes or becoming faster. The aim is to fundamentally ask yourself: What new possibilities are caused by AI and how can we use them? Companies would have to consciously grasp the Ki's possibility of possibilities. “We are often too fast to make the funnel – so to go straight to the solution without asking us: what is actually possible?”
His mantra is therefore: Ai-aware will have a-forst. Only those who have understood the potential and limits of AI can use them sensibly and strategically. And that means to understand AI not only as a tool, but as a thinking partner.
We talked to him about how companies really become ai-first, how to properly deal with the AI, which job profiles no longer apply and which are particularly in demand.
Human in – oder out of the loop?
Stock is convinced that if you found a startup today, you have to deal with AI. But not every foundation must inevitably be ai. In the future there will also be business models where people are at the center, for example in nursing, hairdresser or service. Wherever relationships, advice or empathy are decisive, AI can support, but does not have to make up the core of the product.
