With his startup Kolibri Games, founder Oliver Löffler already put on a 120 million Exit. He and his co -founder Janosch Kühn and Daniel Stammler sold it to Ubisoft – four years after the foundation. That was 2020. VCS was not on board at the time. The founders cashed out, left Kolibri Games a year after the exit and wrote a book about it.

Now Löffler has collected five million US dollars (around 4.4 million euros) from investors for a new games project. The round of 1KX and Makers Fund was led with the participation of Rockawayx. All three are early phase VCS that focus on web3 startups and in parts also on crypto. Also on board are the fishing investors Jeff 'Jihoz' Zirlin, co-founder of the Vietnamese game developer company Sky Mavis, and Sébastien Borget, co-founder & Coo from The Sandbox, a meta-verse platform.
