Weeks of not knowing, grueling worries – if cancer is suspected, a difficult time begins for those affected. It can take time to get a diagnosis. Researchers from Münster find a situation that is unacceptable. Because therapies are delayed, beds remain blocked, families are left hanging in the air.
The deep tech startup Refined Laser Systems from Münster wants to use their system to shorten the time of worry and waiting for a diagnosis – the founders started their research for this while they were still studying. Gründerszene spoke to co-founder Maximilian Brinkmann and Steffen Ullmann, consultant for medical technology.
