The defense tech startup Helsing plans to develop an unmanned fighter plane called “CA-1 Europe”. The startup announced this in a company announcement.

The jet is to fly autonomously and be controlled using Helsings-Ki “Centaur”. The startup presented the design today at the location of the Helsing subsidiary Grob Aircraft in Tussenhausen. Also there: Markus Söder.

According to the company, “CA-1 Europe” is a multi-purpose jet that is designed for use alone or in the swarm. The jet also has a flexible software operating system and can be equipped with different sensors, protection systems and armament.
