The London Ki Startup Gradient Labs secured $ 13 million (11 million euros) in a Series A round. The Silicon-Valley Investor Redpoint Ventures cited the financing round. Localglobe, Puzzle Ventures, Liquid 2 Ventures and Exceptional Capital have also participated in the round.
According to its own statements, Gradient Labs collected the millions within just one week. However, the founders had already set up intensive relationships with potential investors months before the official start of the financing round, regularly supplied them with updates and actively obtained feedback. So they were able to do without a “cold pitch”, as the founders reported in an interview with Business Insider.
