Many people are spending more and more time on their smartphones. If you want to find out exactly how much time that is, you can display your screen time on Android.
The smartphone is now a constant companion for many people. The time we spend on the small computers we carry in our pockets can quickly add up to several hours a day.
But how much time exactly do we spend on our smartphone every day? If you want to get to the bottom of this question, you can view your screen time on Android in an app designed specifically for this purpose.
Show Screen Time on Android
Back in 2019, Google introduced the “Digital Wellbeing” application on Android smartphones. The overview was introduced with the update to Android 9.0.
Since then, you can view screen time on your Android smartphone. No new app is necessary because the information is compiled in your settings.
To do this, open the Settings app on your Android smartphone. A little further down you will find the point “Digital Wellbeing”. Under certain circumstances, this can also be quantified as “Digital Wellbeing” or a similar term.
Click on this option and you will see your screen time. This is displayed in a pie chart and divides the activities on your smartphone into different categories.
This is how you see the overview for a week
If you tap this pie chart, you'll get an overview of your week's screen time. Here you can see a detailed list of which app you spent how much time on this week.
At the end of a week, the application also gives you a weekly report of your usage time. This allows you to analyze your screen time and also see what you spent the most time on each day.
