The range of electric cars is becoming ever larger. But: Which are currently the best models? The ADAC regularly tests numerous electric cars from different vehicle classes. IIn our weekly ranking we show you the best electric cars in the mid-range.

More and more car manufacturers are concentrating on the development of electric cars. Many foreign brands are also constantly producing new models in order to establish themselves on the German market. As the ADAC Autotest recently showed, they could do this successfully. Electric cars are now available in almost all vehicle classes and in different quality levels, which increases competition in all categories.

The best mid-range electric cars

With the help of a comprehensive car test, the ADAC provides an overview of the current models. The vehicles are checked, for example, for their driving characteristics, fuel consumption, design, safety and environmental compatibility. The price-performance ratio is also taken into account in the evaluation. In the following ranking we show you the best mid-range electric cars.

Platz 10: Hyundai Ioniq 5 Uniq-Paket 4WD

Tenth place in the ranking of the ten best mid-range electric cars goes to the Hyundai Ioniq 5 in the Uniq package with all-wheel drive. He received that Test scores 1.8. From a standing start, the model can go from zero to 100 kilometers per hour in five seconds. At the same time, the IONIQ 5 is comparatively economical. In the ADAC Ecotest it achieved a consumption of 19.3 kilowatt hours per 100 kilometers.
