Prominent supporters from politics and business

Investors include former Federal Minister of Justice Brigitte Zypries, former Chief Compliance Officer of Goldman Sachs Bank Europe SE, Michael Bartsch, and Ben Broshi, former Telekom manager and now at Apple.

CEO and co -founder Jacob Wende sees a strategic lever for companies in the platform: “Our goal is not to understand compliance as a necessary evil, but as a strategic advantage. That is why we build a platform that makes regulatory complexity understandable – and relieves it operatively.”

Ex-Federal Minister of Justice Zypries emphasizes the social relevance of the topic: “Organized crime is becoming more and more sophisticated and is a threat to our democracy. This is also why the legislator had to react with numerous specifications.”

According to the company, customers already include MCMakler, Bitgo and Finanzguru.

Growth plans with a focus on AI and new markets

With fresh capital, Regpit wants to promote the expansion of the platform – among other things through the use of AI – as well as new partnerships and customer groups.

The company is also preparing for the expansion to further European markets. The upcoming establishment of the EU money laundering supervisory authority AMLA and an increasing regulatory pressure at European level should further increase the need for cross-border compliance solutions.
